Aventura Technologies, a leader in video surveillance systems, seeks an experienced C++, C#, and/or Delphi programmer.
Responsibilities:
-Work as a member of a project team to code, test, and debug software.
-Find, analyze, and fix software bugs.
-Document new software features and changes.
-Develop new applications for integration with current software.
-Write applications used for regression, load, and stress testing.
Requirements:
-Must speak Fluent English.
-Minimum 5 years experience in writing Windows programs (C++, C#, or Delphi).
-Strong experience with XML, SQL, and TCP/UDP communication required.
-Must have strong communication skills, able to work independently, and be team oriented.
-Knowledge of RAID configuration a PLUS, but not required.
-Experience with video surveillance systems, alarm systems, and/or access control a PLUS, but not required.
-Delphi experience a PLUS.
Education:
-University degree a PLUS, but not required.
This is a permanent full-time position at our headquarters in Hauppauge, NY.
